The event brought together industry leaders, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators to discuss critical challenges and opportunities within the evolving health economy.

Invited speakers included renowned experts in healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, and policy-making, who shared insights on the current landscape and future prospects of the health economy.

Melveen M. Melocoton, RN, MMPA, Manager of the OSHC-Regional Extension Unit No. 6, delivered a thought-provoking keynote on the importance of fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in the healthcare sector to address pressing challenges and improve client outcomes. "As demand for healthcare rises, governments cannot cope alone, which is the reason why health systems are more and more turning to the private sector for solutions using data, digital technology, and artificial intelligence (AI)," he emphasized.

Engaging panel discussions were held on topics such as "The Business of Caring: Uncovering Challenges and Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Healthcare Sector," "The New Face of Healthcare: Medical Entrepreneurship for Today's Health Professionals," and "Innovations in Medical Surveillance: Revolutionizing Healthcare Delivery in the Workplace." Resource speakers included distinguished professionals from various sectors, including public and private healthcare sectors, and entrepreneurship.

The seminar provided ample opportunities for networking, enabling participants to connect with peers, industry leaders, and potential collaborators. This fostered an environment of knowledge-sharing and collaboration, essential for driving forward the health economy.

Overall, the event was a resounding success, receiving positive feedback from attendees for its comprehensive coverage of pertinent issues and the high quality of discussions and presentations. It underscored the need for continued dialogue and collaboration to overcome barriers and promote innovation in the healthcare sector.

Jessica Y. Ciudadano, ACTSAFE Safety Training Coordinator, expressed her gratitude to all speakers, participants, and sponsors for their contributions to the seminar's success.
