The Philippine Dental Health Month is being observed in February under Presidential Proclamation No. 559 signed by then-President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The observance aims to strengthen public awareness of the importance of good oral health. This observance also acknowledges our dental practitioners' passion, dedication, and sacrifices in providing their services to the Filipino community, especially during this pandemic.
To achieve good oral health, we need our dentists to be healthy. To attain that, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the following standard precautions to be practiced in Dental Healthcare Industry to protect dental practitioners and prevent them from spreading infections among their patients.
